Supporting Your Library
How to get involved!
Volunteering
All locations offer volunteer opportunities. Volunteers provide valuable assistance and work on tasks such as shelving materials, cleaning and repairing materials, covering and processing materials, and assisting with the Summer Reading Program. Due to confidentiality issues, volunteers do not use our computerized check out system.
We can also assist with information about other volunteer opportunities in Orange County.
Friends of the Library
Each branch of the Orange County Public Library has its own Friends of the Library Group. All of the funds raised go to benefit that library location. Friends of the Library help provide programs and reading incentives for our Summer Reading Program and Adult Reading Programs. Friends of the Library provide funds to buy new books and other materials and also to respond to needs more immediate than the County budget process allows.
