SPRING 2013!  

Storytimes and programs will begin again starting January 22nd and end on May 23rd! We will then be ready for Summer Reading starting June 18th!

Storytimes

Wilderness Storytimes: 

Toddler Time will meet on Tuesdays @ 10:15. This is a 20 minute program that combines short stories, action rhymes, songs, and dancing to help introduce toddlers to the fun of language, reading, and the library! For children 18 months-3 years with an accompanying caregiver. 

Preschool Storytime will meet on Tuesdays @ 11:00. This is a 30 minute program of stories, songs, and fingerplays followed by a 15 minute craft project. For children ages 3-6 with an accompanying caregiver. 

Orange Storytimes:

Toddler Time will meet on Wednesdays @ 9:45. This is a 20 minute program that combines short stories, action rhymes, songs, and dancing to help introduce toddlers to the fun of language, reading, and the library! For children 18 months-3 years with an accompanying caregiver. 

Preschool Storytime will meet on Wednesdays @ 10:30. This is a 30 minute program of stories, songs, and fingerplays followed by a 15 minute craft project. For children ages 3-6 with an accompanying caregiver. 

Gordonsville Storytimes:

Family Storytime will meet on Thursdays @ 9:45. This is a 30 minute program of stories, songs, and fingerplays followed by a 15 minute craft project. For children ages 18 months-6 with an accompanying caregiver. 

Children's Programs FAQs 

Do I have to have a library card to attend?  No

Is there a cost? No

Can I bring my neighbor, grandchild, friend who is visiting?  Yes, they are welcome to attend

Do I need to sign up in advance?  No, our programs are drop-in.  We do request that you arrive on time as late arrivals can be disruptive.

School is cancelled, will there still be a program?  No, it is our policy to cancel programs when the schools close.  You are invited to come and read in our children's areas if you are able to travel safely.
